Service Policy
Draft for POC review. Professional legal review and a complete business-identity configuration are required before commercial publication.
Effective date: 2026-01-01
The current Starter plan is an unmanaged VPS. This page separates what RYVARA operates from what you are responsible for.
RYVARA operates
- The account and customer portal
- Order processing and checkout
- VPS provisioning and lifecycle requests (start, stop, reboot, rebuild, delete)
- Reconciliation with the infrastructure provider
- Customer-facing server status
- Platform-level security (authentication, session management, authorization)
- Monitoring ingestion, where a customer has enabled the monitoring agent
- The support ticket workflow
- Infrastructure deletion requests, once confirmed with the provider
You are responsible for
- Operating-system administration and configuration
- Applying security updates and patches
- Application installation, configuration, and availability
- Password and SSH-key security
- Firewall configuration where it is customer-managed
- Backups and data protection — see the Backup Policy
- Software licenses for anything you install
- Preventing your server from being used for abuse
- Compliance with applicable law for your use of the server
- Incident response inside your own server
Limits of monitoring
RYVARA does not inspect or manage customer files as part of ordinary service. Where monitoring is enabled, it collects infrastructure-level metrics only (for example CPU, memory, disk, and an agent heartbeat) — it does not provide application-level management, and it does not guarantee that your applications are correctly configured or running. Monitoring is not backup, and a monitored server can still fail.
Status accuracy and maintenance
The portal's displayed server status may briefly lag the infrastructure provider's actual status while reconciliation completes. Scheduled or emergency platform maintenance may occasionally affect portal or API availability; active maintenance notices are published at Status.
No SLA
No service-level agreement (uptime guarantee or support-response guarantee) exists unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise.
