Ubuntu LTS releases
Ubuntu 22.04, 24.04 and 26.04. An image is offered only after a real server has been built from it and read back.

Administrative access
You reach the server over SSH as an account with sudo, and install whatever your workload needs.

Clean Ubuntu images
A bare Ubuntu image with nothing installed on top of it — no vendor stack to strip out before you start.
SSH-key access
Add your public key during checkout, or take a one-time generated password. Keys are held per organization and their fingerprints are shown before installation.
Firewall and recovery
Firewall rules, rescue mode, an operating-system reinstall and a browser console — for when the way in stops working.
Monitoring and activity
CPU, memory, disk and network from an authenticated agent, and a readable record of every action taken on the server.
Deployment process
Three steps. The server's state is visible at each one, and a failure names the step it failed at rather than reporting a generic error.
Choose the plan, region and Ubuntu release. The full specification and the price are shown before anything is charged.
Pay in USD. Nothing is provisioned until the payment result is confirmed, so a failed charge cannot leave a half-built server behind.
The server is built, its final state is verified against the provider, and its address and access details appear in your workspace.
